PURPOSE: To enhance the accuracy of the concn. or components of a slurry by recovering the non-mixed powder residue in the vicinity of a gas-liquid interface to dissolve the same in the slurry by freezing a part of a required amount of the liquid to form ice pieces having a size suitable for washing and charging said ice pieces in a stirring container.
CONSTITUTION: Ice pieces 12 prepared by an ice making machine 11 and a grinder 8 are charged in a stirring container 1 from an ice piece charging port 7 in an amount 1-30% a required amount of a liquid and the remainder of a required amount of the liquid is charged in the container 1 from a water supply pipe 3. Next, a powder 10 is mixed with the ice pieces and the liquid little by little from a powder charging port 4 while the liquid 9 is stirred by rotating the impeller 2b of a stirrer 2 by a motor 2a. Whereupon, the ice pieces 12 floating on a gas-liquid interface washes non- mixed residue floating to the vicinity of the gas-liquid interface to be ready to adhere to said interface mechanically and efficiently to recover the same in a slurry. When the powder 10 and the liquid 9 are further uniformly stirred and mixed, the ice pieces 12 are perfectly melted at the completion point of time and the slurry becomes of desired concn.
