To provide a method for weaving capable of coping with a fabric having any wide width by a single cloth weaving and simply winding up a product even by a nonprofessional in the production of the subject products.

In preparing a tapestry thick carpet and a hardwoven rug, a usual drum-winding unit is unused, while a direct winding unit which can wind up by using a fabric-winding material 7 having a plane cross-section and arranged under a loom in the whole width of weaving is used. When winding up a woven fabric 10 on the winding material 7, the tension of warp yarn 5 is made adjustable by loosing and straining the warp yarn 5 by upward and downward motions of upper drums 1a and 1b, and at the same time, the warp yarn 5 is brought to send out in the whole width of wearing of the product 10 by overlapping the ends of the upper drums 1a and 1b to enable to be simultaneously woven in the whole width of the product 10.
