PURPOSE: To prepare a tempura or hamgurger steak, continuously, by carrying out the automatic molding and taking out of a viscous material and automatic feeding of the material to a heating apparatus in a through continuous line.

CONSTITUTION: A viscous material, e.g. a tempura or hamburger steak, is contained in a cylindrical container 1, and a molding plate 4 of a given width is rotated about the central axis 3 on a bottom plate. The viscous material is pushed into a molding hole 2 by the molding plate 4, and the material is contained in a containing part of a given shape formed by the molding plate 4, a receiving plate 5 and the molding hole 2. The receiving plate 5 is lowered, and the resultant molded material 9 is placed on the receiving plate 5. The plate 5 is then reversed to peel the viscous material from the receiving plate 5 by the own weight and dropped to a heating apparatus 8.
