Abstract:
To provide a prepreg capable of attaining excellent dielectric constant, dielectric tangent, uniformity of dielectric constant, and adhesiveness, and a laminate obtained using the same.SOLUTION: The prepreg includes a resin fiber cloth, and a matrix resin composition contained in the resin fiber cloth, where the resin fiber cloth is a woven cloth comprising polyphenylene ether composition fibers, and woven so that the weaving density of warp and weft is 20-80 yarns/inch, and the aperture ratio is 1-30%, the polyphenylene ether composition fiber is a fiber including 50-80 mass% of polyphenylene ether, 20-40 mass% of a styrenic elastomer, and 2-8 mass% of a flame retardant, and obtained by bundling 10-200 of single yarns having a diameter of 5-30 μm, and the matrix resin composition includes low molecular weight polyphenylene ether having a number average molecular weight of 1,000-4,000.SELECTED DRAWING: None
