This prescription support device to be operated by an issuer who issues prescriptions is provided with: a medicine storage means for storing medicine information about each of a plurality of types of medicines in association with each medicine belonging to prescribed classification items; a first reception means for receiving at least one medicine input in response to the state of a patient as basic prescriptions; a first extraction means for extracting each medicine information stored in association with the classification items to which the basic prescriptions belong from the medicine storage means; and a presentation means for presenting each medicine information extracted by the extraction means to the issuer and the patient.
