CONSTITUTION: In a press apparatus 50, a shift bend is worked on the end of a planar material by engaging the shift bend blade 58x of a working cam 58, which is moved horizontally linked with the movement of an upper die 60, with the shift bend part 54f of a rotary cam 54 in a state that the rotary cam 54 attached to a lower die 52 is rotated to a prescribed position. Cam mechanisms 62, 54a, 54c are provided between the upper die 60 and the rotary cam 54 of the lower die 52; and by the operation of the cam mechanisms 62, 54a, 54c, the rotary cam 54 is rotated to the prescribed position at a prescribed timing linked with the movement of the upper die 60. Consequently, the reliability is high, and defective operation and the like are hardly generated compared with a method in which the rotary cam 54 is rotated by a air cylinder, etc.
