PURPOSE: To make production process simpler than heretofore and to provide a hood cushion property and durability as well as to allow long-term use by forming the above material of 3 to 5-ply multilayer woven fabrics consisting of heat resistant spun yarn woven fabric having the fineness of warp and weft, the density in a warp direction, the density in a weft direction and the bending coefft. of warp which are of respectively specific values.
CONSTITUTION: This material is formed of the 3 to 5-ply multilayered woven fabrics which are formed by using the spun yarn consisting of heat resistant fibers for the warp and the weft, and have 10 to 2 count fineness of the warp and weft, 150 to 80 pieces/2.54cm density in the warp direction, 140 to 50 pieces/2.54cm density in the weft direction, and 30 to 1 bending coefft. (n/d) of the warp. The multilayered woven fabrics mentioned above may be subjected to an impregnation treatment with a heat resistant resin. This cushion material is simpler in the production process than heretofore and has the higher durability of the product.
