This press-cutting apparatus is equipped with a screw conveyor 4 and a cutter 5. The screw conveyor 4 is constituted so that a rotary shaft 2 having a spiral fin 1 is arranged in a transfer cylinder 3 and the bark 6 of wood supplied to the transfer cylinder 3 is transferred by the rotary shaft 2 while pressed in the transfer cylinder 3. The cutter 5 is constituted so as to finely cut the bark 6 of wood in a compressed state extruded from the transfer cylinder 3 of the screw conveyor 4.
