Abstract:
To provide a press-formed product manufacturing method capable of preventing cracks from occurring in a weld zone when a hardness of the weld zone is high, the cracks being used to occur in conventional press-formed product manufacturing methods because press-forming is performed after heat treatment of a tailored blank material.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method comprises: a first step of heating, by laser irradiation LC, a region including a weld zone WB between blank materials B1, B2 to evaporate an oil content on surfaces of the blank materials B1, B2; a second step of joining, by laser welding LW, the blank materials B1, B2 with each other to obtain a tailored blank material TB; and a third step of cold-press-forming the tailored blank material TB to obtain a press-formed product P. Thereby, the method can suppress hardening of the weld zone WB while preventing hydrogen embrittlement of the weld zone WB in the tailored blank material TB, so as to prevent cracking during press molding and to provide a press-formed product P with high quality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
