PURPOSE: To provide a press-forming device which can surely remove biting of a work bent by a press in spite of a simple structure and lift up the work and does not require checking the accuracy of the arranged position of a work lifter.

CONSTITUTION: The work lifter 17 which is set to be able to retract from a vertical surface including the lower end part 15b of the worked surface 15a of a work set on a die 15 and energized toward the side of an upper die 12 is fitted to the lower end part 15b of the die 15. On the side face 11a near the upper end of a punch 11 positioned on an elevating locus of the work lifter 17, a return pin 19 which is set to be able to retract from the side face 11a of the punch 11 is buried through an expansion/contraction member 19b energized toward this side face 11a. Further, the energizing force of the expansion/ contraction member 19b is set to be larger than the energizing force of the work lifter 17.
