To provide a press-in construction method for a pile and a pipe capable of pressing the pile and the pipe in the ground by the desired depth in a limited narrow space even in a small stroke of a hydraulic jack; and an inexpensive press-in device with a simple structure used for performing this construction method.
The hydraulic jack A is constituted by threadedly fitting a reaction nut 3 to a screw rod 2 of a hydraulic jack body 1 having the screw rod 2 expanding-contracting at a predetermined stroke S. The hydraulic jack A is installed in a fixing part B of an upper position opposed to the ground C in a state of loosely inserting the screw rod 2 into the pile P and the pipe. The reaction nut 3 is arranged so that the pile P and the pipe being a press-in object to the ground C can be pressed from above. The reaction nut 3 is lowered every time when pushing down the screw rod 2 at the predetermined stroke S of the hydraulic jack A, and the pile P and the pipe are pressed in the ground C.
