To suppress both width end sections of a work from being drawn into the central section side at the time of press-molding of the band-like work, and to prevent a defective molded article from occurring.
The work 13 comprising two upper and lower sheets 13a and 13b is intermittently fed, and press-molding is performed to the work 13 between an indented die 11 and a protruding die 12 when the intermittent feeding is stopped. On both side sections of the indented die 11, a plurality of teeth 16b forming a waveform as a whole along the work feeding direction are provided in a row. The skin sheet 13a on the upper side is held under a stretched state by clamping by a clamping device 14, and at the same time, both width end sections of the base material sheet 13b on the lower side are set free, and under this state, the press-molding is performed. At the time of the molding, both width end sections of the base material sheet 13b are engaged with the teeth 16b on both side sections of the indented die 11.
