Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press molding method which enables improvement of dimensional accuracy of a necking part while inhibiting occurrence of wrinkles in an outer peripheral flange part.SOLUTION: In a press molding method according to an embodiment, a front cover 1 including a circular disc part 10 having a circular disc shape and an outer peripheral flange part 20, which is molded to one surface side of the circular disc part 10 from an outer peripheral edge 14 of the circular disc part 10, is molded. In the press molding method, a small diameter cylindrical part 30, a necking part 40, and a large diameter cylindrical part 50 are molded in the outer peripheral flange part 20. The press molding method includes: a first process where the small diameter cylindrical part 30 and the necking part 40 are molded by drawing; and a second process where the large diameter cylindrical part 50 is molded by bending. A clearance between an upper blade and a lower blade in the first process and the second process is set to a thickness of a workpiece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
