Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject device capable of increasing and decreasing nipping width with rise and fall of nipping pressure, having improved dehydrating efficiency and heating efficiency by specifying at least a substrate of one press roll and an outer cell.
CONSTITUTION: An outer cell 22 is fixed through fixed gap to the periphery of an intermediate part 21 of at least one substrate 21 of press rolls 11 and 12 of squeezing web 13 and both end parts of the outer cells are integrated with both end parts of the substrate. The substrate has sufficient flexural rigidity in the direction of substrate roll shaft and the outer cell can be elastically deformed circularly in the peripheral direction of the roll.
