Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press suitable for small lot many kinds production.
SOLUTION: This press comprises a truck 17 having a plurality of coils 21, a plurality of material stock bases 36 with material 31 placed in a spiral shape, a material feeding unit la for feeding either the coils 21 or the material 31 in the spiral shape to a leveler 2, a feeder 3 to which the material is fed from the leveler 2, a pressing machine 4 for pressing the material fed from the feeder 3, and a die changing device 5. The leveler 2 is moved close to the material feeding unit 1a and close to the feeder 3 in a substantially horizontal attitude when feeding the material, and forms a loop in the material in an inclined attitude when pressing the material. Thus, since either the coils 21 or the material 31 in the spiral shape can be selected and fed to the press, and the die can be changed, the material corresponding to a product to be pressed can be fed, the die can be set to the press 4 for pressing, realizing the press suitable for small lot many kinds production.
