PURPOSE: To prevent the overheat of a control circuit or the like due to heater by providing a fixed plate and a movable plate for sandwiching and heating clothes or the like and a control portion for controlling energization to the heater and providing notch portions at a control portion of a heating pattern of the heater.
CONSTITUTION: When a power is turned on, the temperature of a heating pattern 20 through which current passes rises so that clothes 15 are heated while being sandwiched. A pattern is disposed so as to completely cover a range on which clothes 1 are placed. A circuit portion can be maintained at a low temperature by notch portions 19 of the control circuit side provided on a movable plate 11. The clothes 15 can uniformly and completely be heated. Since the notch portions 19 are arranged so as to simultaneously avoid parts weak to heat such an magnets 11 forfixing a press sheet 17 as well as the control circuit, the thermal deterioration of these parts can be prevented and the deterioration of holding force can be prevented.
