To provide a pressing device of a stencil process printer which is free from paper creases in printing paper when a printing image is transferred in a texture direction despite the device of a simple construction.
This pressing device 10 is equipped with a wind force supply part 11 for rotating a press roll 135, a press roll drive part 12 for converting the wind force from the wind force part 11 to a rotating force and rotating the press roll 135, and a press roll pressing part 13 for pressing the press roll 135 to the outer circumferential surface of a drum 126. The wind force supplied from the wind force supply part 11 is converted to the rotating force by the press roll drive part 12 and thus, the press roll 135 is rotated. Further, the rotating press roll 135 is pressed to the outer circumferential surface of the drum 126 by the press roll pressing part 13.
