Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing through bending system capable of realizing precise pressing through bending.
SOLUTION: A pressing through bending machine 10 produces a long size product by bending a long size stock successively passing a fixed die and a moving die. A computer system 43 sets local coordinate systems for respective cross sections on a three dimensional picture of the long size product by obtaining the shape data representing the long size product shape according to a overall coordinate system. The position of the moving die is specified on the basis of the local coordinate system. A controller 42 controls the movement of the moving die based on a specified position of the moving die.
