To provide a structure capable of achieving high air-tight performance without remarkably lowering dimensional accuracy of a container, in regard to a pressure container formed by joining a plurality of plate members with a friction stir welding method.
A plurality of plate members 11 and 11 are respectively formed with a notch groove 11a structuring a recessed groove 1a on an outer side of a side of a wall 12 while joining the plate members. The notch groove 11a is formed with a R (round) part 11b in at least one corner with a view from a lateral cross section. while arranging a columnar spacer members 12 and 13 formed to be tightly brought into contact with the inner wall surface of the recessed groove 11a inside the recessed groove 11a, a boundary part between the plate members 11 and 11 and a boundary part between the plate members 11 and the spacer members 12 and 13 are joined by the friction stir welding method on an outer side of a side and on an upper and a lower surface sides of the plate member 11.
