Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a pressure difference safety valve, wherein in a water supply channel a check valve is arranged which permits the same water pressure to apply both in the closing and opening directions of the check valve, so that the set valve of drainage pressure may be independent of the water supply pressure, and when the pressure is elevated the valve is opened to drainage the high temperature water to prevent breakage of the pipings. CONSTITUTION:A valve seat 36 is provided to an opening 35 which communicates a first chamber A to a second chamber B in a casing 21, and a check valve 37 is seated in the valve saet 36 from the second chamber B. A valve seat 28 is threaded in a pipe opening 26 of a casing 21, a valve 32 is fixed to a forward end of a valve rod 31 fitted to a cylinder portion 24, and the valve 32 is opposed to a valve seat 28. The outer diameter of the seat valve 28 is the same as tha inner diameter of the cylinder portion 24, and when hot water is supplied the valve 32 abuts the valve seat 28 only by resiliency of a coil spring 34. When the hot water supply has been stopped and the pressure of high temerature water flown from the second chamber B becomes greater the resilient force of the coil spring 34, the valve 32 is opened to communicate the second chamber B with a third chamber C and the hot water temperature flows into the third chamber C and is discharged outside of the casing 21 through an outlet 30, so that the breakages of pipings due to the high pressure and high temperature water may be prevented.
