PURPOSE: To provide a pressure distribution measuring device capable of color- displaying the magnitude and distributed state of a pressure which is a subject of measurement with the constitution of only hardware.
CONSTITUTION: By a selector 217, 4096 pieces of pressure sensitive sensors whose current-carrying values are changed according to the magnitude of a pressurizing force are successively selected, the current from the pressure sensitive sensor is converted into voltage, and the 8-bit digital data corresponding to the voltage value is outputted by an A/D converter 223. This digital data is inputted to the lower 8 bits of the addresses of three ROMs 224a-224c provided corresponding to three primary colors (red, green, blue). In each ROM 224a-224c, the region represented by the 8-bit address is equally divided into a plurality of sections, in which the data capable of displaying different colors are recorded, and after the output of the ROM is D/A converted, it is composed with a synchronous signal to generate an NTSC signal. Thus, the measurement result can be displayed with a color image substantially at real time.
