Title:
PRESSURE FIXING TONER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5463834
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the fixing property under pressure and to stabilize the developing and fixing performances, when a multiplicity of copies are to be made, by using as a binder a fluorine-contained resin or its polymer or copolymer with tetorafluoroethylene.

CONSTITUTION: The binder of a toner is prepared by containing as major component a fluorine-contained resin using solely or together the polymer of a fluorine- contained monomer or a copolymer composed majorly of the former. The quantity of the fluorine-contained resin is sufficient to satisfy the pressure fixing property. In accordance with the purposes of charging, transfering and cleaning propertied, another resin or wax may be used in the form of a mixture in a quantity more than 40 wt.%, preferably, higher than 50 wt.% of the binder. Thus, it is possible to produce a toner which is stabilized in developing and fixing performances.
