Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure reducing valve which ensures a large amount of flow, can reduce solenoid thrust, excels in responsivity, and can accurately control secondary pressure without being affected by a spool working error.
SOLUTION: A small diameter portion 28 and an incision 29 which make a primary port 22 communicate with a secondary port 23 are formed on an outer peripheral surface 27 of a spool 25 to increase an aperture area, thereby ensuring a large amount of flow. The spool 25 is shaped into a cylinder having an inner peripheral surface to attain lightweight and superior responsivity. The inner peripheral surface takes the shape with a step, and a step portion 26c of which is functioned as a pressure receiving portion 33, thus reducing power to push the spool 25 by secondary pressure so as to reduce the thrust of a solenoid 38. Furthermore, the variations in area of the pressure receiving portion 33, caused by a working error of circumferential surface of the spool 25, is reduced to accurately control secondary pressure.
