Abstract:

To provide a pressure sealing device which certainly seals a liquid crystal injection port by calculating the center position in a direction of lamination of liquid crystal panels with high precision.

The pressure sealing device is provided with a pressurizing mechanism 30 which alternately laminates and holds the liquid crystal panels S and cushioning material layers C via an auxiliary member Q toward a tool J and simultaneously pressurizes in the direction of lamination, an image sensor 43 which picks up image of the liquid crystal panels S held with the pressurizing mechanism 30 and detects a boundary position between the liquid crystal panel S and the cushioning material layer C based on the image, a controlling part 100 to calculate the center position of the gap in the direction of lamination based on the boundary position detected with the image sensor 43 and an applying nozzle 46 to end-seal the liquid crystal injection port with an end-sealing material based on the center position calculated with the calculating means.
