PURPOSE: To obtain the title adhesive with excellent sticking and adhesive properties to a coated plate with a rough surface and weatherability by compounding an acryl rubber having a functional group and a specified glass transition temp. with a butadiene rubber and a specific methylol compd.
CONSTITUTION: The title adhesive is prepared by compounding 100 pts.wt. acryl rubber with a functional group and a glass transition temp. of -30°C or lower (e.g. butyl acrylate-2-hydroxyethyl acrylate-acrylonitrile copolymer) with 5-50 pts.wt. one or more butadiene rubbers selected from butadiene rubbers, styrene- butadiene rubbers and acrylonitrile-butadiene rubbers and 0.5-15 pts.wt. methylol compd. with two or more functional groups of formula CH2OCnH2n+1 (wherein (n) is 0-4) in the molecule (e.g. buthyl-etherified methylolmelamine).
