Title:
PRESSURE SENSITIVE ELECTRIC SWITCH ASSEMBLY AND ITS MANUFACTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3825085
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensitive switch branch passage assembly unit which is used in relation to a transmission of an automobile and is inexpensive and is highly reliable and is suitable for mass production.
SOLUTION: An assembly of always opening pressure sensitive electrode switches 10a to 10e, forms a discontinuous annular seat 12 acting on a pressure sensitive disk 42 as a contact surface and a central contact point 14 corresponding to the annular seat by using a single lead frame 8. The lead frame is covered with and molded by electric insulating plastic, and circuits are electrically separated from each other by cutting a connecting runner 42. A switch station has a disk 42 sealed by a flexible layer 47 and an O ring 48. An independent lead 26 may be arranged to add a switch of an opposite logic, that is, an always opening switch, in a word, to add a thermistor 38. An always closing switch may be a module shape, and the switch can also have a contact point formed of the lead frame.
