Title:
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08175002
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent crystallization in a microencapsulation process and to reduce the use amt. of an org. solvent by adding a specific chromenopyrazole compd. as a color former.

CONSTITUTION: A pressure-sensitive recording material contains spiro {chromeno [2,3C]pyrazole-4(H)-l'-phthalane}-7-(N-ethyl-N-isoamylamino)-3-methyl-1-phenyl-3- one represented by formula obtained by condensing a benzoylbenzoic acid compd. and a pyrazolone compd. in sulfuric acid as a color former. Since the chrometopyrazole compd. represented by the formula is excellent in solubility with respect to a general-purpose org. solvent or vegetable oil, a pressure- sensitive recording material good not only from a human aspect but also from an environmental aspect is obtained by adding this compd.
