Abstract:
To provide a pressure sensor with which it is possible to improve the accuracy of detecting pressure and a glow plug with this pressure sensor.SOLUTION: The pressure sensor comprises: a diaphragm including a first tube part for connecting to the radial inside of an annular bottom part and a second tube part extending in the same direction as the first tube part while connecting to the radial outside of the bottom part; and a sensor element composed of a strain gauge having an electrically insulating base arranged at the bottom and a first and a second gauge formed on the base. When the sensor element is halved into an inside region on the radial inside and an outside region on the radial outside in such a way that the radial length of the base is equally divided into two parts, the second gauge that detects strain in the tangential direction is arranged in only the inside region, or the area of the portion arranged in the inside region is larger than the area of the portion arranged in the outside region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
