Title:
PRESSURE VESSEL, AND REFRIGERATION CYCLE DEVICE HAVING THE PRESSURE VESSEL AS VAPOR-LIQUID SEPARATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3937973
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the pressure-proof service life of a vapor-liquid separator by reviewing a shape of a hole in a flow-in passage 32 opened in an inner circumferential surface of a tank chamber 18.
SOLUTION: A gas-liquid separator comprises a first mixing chamber 19 in which a part of a refrigerant discharged from a compressor and a part of a liquid refrigerant condensed by a condenser flows, and the refrigerant mixed in the first mixing chamber 19 flows into the tank chamber 18 of the vapor-liquid separator through the flow-in passage 32. In the flow-in passage 32, the shape of a hole opened in the inner circumferential surface of the tank chamber 18 is meteoric. More specifically, in the dissimilar long hole shape, a first semi-circle 32a and a second semi-circle 32b facing each other by a predetermined distance in the circumferential direction of the tank chamber 18 are connected to each other via a tangential line 32c, and the radius of curvature of the second semi-circle 32b is set to be larger than that of the first semi-circle 32a. This hole shape reduces the maximum stress generated by diffusion of the generated stresses in a vicinity of the hole, and the pressure-proof service life of the vapor-liquid separator is improved thereby.
