Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a pressurized casting method, by which the sufficient pressurizing effect is obtd. to the whole molten metal, by changing the advancing speed of a pressurizing pin at the time of pressurizing according to the solidified condition of the molten metal.
CONSTITUTION: In the pressurized casting by using a pressurized casting apparatus 2, the pressurizing pin 10 is advanced to a cavity direction at the step of solidifying the filled molten metal to pressurize the molten metal. At this time, the resiliency, in which the pressurizing pin 10 receives from the molten metal, is measured with a pressure sensor 46 and the advancing speed of the pressurizing pin 10 is varied by controlling the opening degree of a flow rate adjusting valve 40 according to this resiliency. At a part where the resiliency is high and the solidification of the molten metal is progressed, the flow rate adjusting valve 40 is opened so that the advancing speed of the pressurizing pin 10 becomes high to apply the high pressurized force. At a part where the resiliency is low and the solidification of the molten metal is delayed, the advancing speed is adjusted to be low and controlled so that the pressurized force is not applied until the molten metal solidifies. In such a way, the pressurizing pin 10 is advanced while adjusting the speed and the pressurization of the whole stroke is completed.
