The method of fixing the sleeve 8 to the PC steel material 4 by press fitting a wedge between the sleeve 8 having an inner side inclined face and the PC steel material 4 introduced with tensile force, and introducing a prestress into concrete by the pretension method using its PC steel material 4 comprises press fitting the wedge 12 between the sleeve 8 and the PC steel material 4 with press fitting force equivalent to the tensile force of at least 50% of the tensile force introduced into the PC steel material 4, and fixing the sleeve 8 to the PC steel material 4. Further, the prestressed concrete member by the pretension method is formed by press fitting the wedge 12 between the sleeve 8 and the PC steel material 4 with press fitting force equivalent to the tensile force of at least 50% of the tensile force introduced into the PC steel material 4, and thereby fixing the sleeve 8 to the PC steel material 4.
