PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pre-tension application device where a compression material whose characteristic allowable buckling stress is lower than generation buckling stress can be connected without restriction, and also, anchor bolt does not receive reaction force to strain force.SOLUTION: Provided is a pre-tension application device where a PC steel 13 for pre-stress concrete production is spread between a steel supporting material 22 and a steel fixing material 23, strain force is applied to the PC steel 13 with a jack 20 provided at a jack receiving stand 28, the reaction force of the jack receiving stand 28 is received by a compression material 26 provided between the jack receiving stand 28 and the steel supporting material 22, a buckling prevention material 27 is set at a position where, in the middle of the compression material 26, the characteristic allowable buckling stress of the compression material 26 is not made lower than the generation buckling stress, and the compression material 26 is freely inserted into an insertion space 33 formed at the buckling prevention material 27, slidably.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
