Abstract:

To reduce equipment cost and equipment maintenance cost while enhancing the values of recovered materials by entirely eliminating powdered metallic lock pins and enabling the classification free from inter-inclusion as the pretreatment method for classification and recovery of glass materials and metallic lock pins which are the component members of cathode ray tubes of waste television receivers.

The pretreatment method for classification of the objects for treatment composed of the glass materials 14 and the metallic lock pins 15 in ensuring stages in the disassembly process for recycling of the waste cathode ray tubes consists in compressing the objects for treatment with a pressurization plane 12 of a pressurizing device, thereby buckling deformation and buckling crushing the objects to cause the primary dissociation of the joint boundaries between the glass materials 14 and the metallic lock pins 15, then applying vibrations or impact force thereto to cause the secondary dissociation thereof.
