Abstract:
PURPOSE: To coat surfaces of various facilities for water supply and drain system with protective layers of tetrafluoroethylene so that after coating, the coating films can be easily cleaned and the clean state can be maintained for a long time.
CONSTITUTION: A contamination preventing agent prepared by dissolving tetrafluoroethylene and phenol resin adhesive in a solvent is applied on the surface of facilities for water supply and drain system. After coating, the solvent is removed by drying with an infrared heater, hot air blower, etc., to form a protective layer consisting of tetrafluoroethylene on the surface of the facilities.
