Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a medicine containing a glucopyronoside derivative as an active ingredient and useful for prevention and treatment for infectious diseases of microorganisms such as Pseudomonas aeruginos, Escherichia coli, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Aspergillus, Candida and herpes virus.
CONSTITUTION: The objective preventing and treating agent contains 2- deoxy-6-0-[2-deoxy-3-0-substistuted-4-0-phosphono--2-substituted amino-D- glucopyranosyl]3-0-substituted-2-substituted amino-D-glucopyranoside of formula I [R is Z1R5 or formula II; R1 and R3 are COR8, COZ4R9, etc.; R2 and R4 are formula III; R5 to R7 are carboxyl or phosphoxy; R8 is 1-20C alkyl, etc.; R9 and R11 are 1-20C alkyl or 3-12C cycloalkyl; Z to Z are 1-6C alkylene; Z4 to Z6 are 1-9C alkylene; Q3 and Q4 are H, 1-20C alkyl, etc.; (n) is 0-12) as an active ingredient. The agent is prepared as an injection, etc., and the dose is 0.01-100mg/kg weight/day.
