Abstract:
PURPOSE: To effectively regulate pH value of stabilizer liquid as well as inactivate it by contacting denaturated stabilizer liquid containing cement with CO2 gas.
CONSTITUTION: When a stabilizer liquid prepared by dispersing and dissolving a clay mineral such as bentonite and a water-soluble polymer in water is denaturated with cement, the stabilizer liquid is housed in a tank 1 and contacted with CO2 gas through a nozzle 2 from a CO2 source 4. In this case, CO2 gas is supplied through a solenoid valve 9 and a flow meter 10, whereby making the regulation of pH of the stabilizer liquid easier and also permitting the precipitation of CaCO3 inactivation of CO2 to be performed effectively.
