Title:
PREVENTION OF WEAVING BAR DEVELOPMENT IN PILE LOOM AND EQUIPMENT THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3740789
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject method intended for preventing weaving bar development when a loom operation is stopped in the middle of the reed beating operation of first pick weft.
SOLUTION: In this method a reed 15 is receiving driving force from a loom driving motor Mo, which is subject to the control of a loom control computer Co. A weave pattern setter 35 transmits weave pattern information to the loom control computer Co, which, in turn, determines whether a mispicked yarn is the 2nd loose pick weft or not based on the weave pattern information. When the mispicked yarn is the 2nd loose pick weft, the loom control computer Co outputs a forced halt signal to a terry motion control unit C1, which, in turn, makes a forced halt of the actuation of a terry motion motor 28 in response to the forced halt signal received.
