To provide a preventive maintenance system for transaction processors improved in reliability of preventive maintenance.
In a preventive maintenance system for transaction processors, a preventive maintenance server periodically performs meter reading to collect, from a transaction processor requiring preventive maintenance, preventive maintenance information available for determination of the time when maintenance work is required, analyzes the collected preventive maintenance information, and determines for each transaction processor whether the transaction processor is in an alarm status requiring maintenance work within a predetermined period. The preventive maintenance server has: a serial alarm detection means for determining, for each transaction processor, whether a serial alarm has occurred wherein the transaction processor is in an alarm status in all of a preset first number of times of a series of meter readings; and a work request generation means for generating a request for work including maintenance work for the transaction processor where the serial alarm has occurred when there is a transaction processor where the serial alarm has occurred.
