Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the adhesion and prevent tiles from slipping off by connecting a net knitted in a specified opening with threads having a specified thickness and elongation on the rear face of respective tiles of a unit tile by using an adhesive and applying mortar on a concrete wall.
CONSTITUTION: A honeycomb or lattice net 9 is knitted to have 3-15mm mesh by threads with 200-1000 denier in fineness and 1.5% or more elongation in mortar or 2-20mm mash by number 10-60 count cotton yarn. Next, the net 9 is bonded at the middle of the rear face of respective tiles 2 of the unit tile 11 by an acryl adhesive 10 and the unit tile 11 is bonded on a concrete wall through mortar 6. In this case, since the net is a little elastic, transferring of tiles and accurate joints can be easily adjusted. In this way, tiles can be prevented from slipping off.
