To execute previous preview of broadcast materials with a terminal (hereinafter called a general-purpose terminal) of each employee of a broadcast station without using a terminal exclusive for preview, and also, to simply and previously preview the broadcast materials without overlooking defective images, when the broadcast materials are previously previewed with a broadcast program transmitting system for transmitting the recorded broadcast materials of main programs of programs and those of CMs when putting them on the air after recording the broadcast materials of the main programs of the programs and those of the CMs.

When recording the broadcast materials of the main programs of the programs and those of the CMs stored in a VTR into a video server, still images respectively generated from the broadcast materials are taken into a distribution server corresponding to a list of broadcasting order transmitted from a data server. Consequently, the still images of each of the main programs and those of each of the CMs are displayed on a display screen of each general-purpose terminal, while arranging them side by side corresponding to the list of broadcasting order when a preview request is made to the distribution server from each general-purpose terminal via a network.
