Title:
PRIMARY RADIATOR FOR PARABOLIC ANTENNA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3857178
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primary radiator for a parabolic antenna in structure capable of excellently suppressing VSWR up to bandwidth of 1050 MHz.
SOLUTION: A resin-made waterproof cover 21 is pressed in a tip opening part 12 of a horn antenna main body 11 and a cylindrical projection part 23 for suppressing VSWR is formed on the internal wall surface 22 of the waterproof cover 21. This projection part 23 is formed, protruding to an end opening part 12 of the horn antenna main body 11 and arranged coaxially with the center axis L1 of the horn antenna main body 11. A ring-shaped step part 24 is formed at the opening tip part of the projection part 23; and an outside tall step projection part 25 suppresses VSWR of low frequency and the inside short step projection part 26 suppress VSWR of high frequency.
