Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a primer effective for an aluminum building material to which an acrylic or the like electrodeposition coating film is applied by heat- treating a composition comprising a specified polyorganosiloxane, a specified organosilicon compound, an organotitanium or organozirconium compound and an organic solvent.
CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising 100 pts.wt. polyorganosiloxane having 0.9-1.55 Si-bonded, per Si atom in the molecule [wherein R is a monovalent (substituted) hydrocarbon group], a rate of phenyl groups in R's of 20-80% and at least two Si-bonded hydroxyl groups in the molecule, 0.1-100 pts.wt. organosilicon compound having at least one C-bonded amino group and at least two Si-bonded alkoxyl groups in the molecule, 0.1-100 pts.wt. organotitanium compound and/or organozirconium compound and 10-5000 pts.wt. organic solvent is heat-treated at 40°C or above.
