Title:
PRIMERS AND PROBES FOR DETECTING HUMAN PAPILLOMAVIRUS AND HUMAN BETA GLOBIN SEQUENCES IN TEST SAMPLES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016028574
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new processes that: (1) are capable of detecting multiple human papillomavirus (HPV) genotypes in a single reaction while at the same time differentiating the detection of certain specific genotypes from the detection of other genotypes; (2) do not exhibit any cross-reactivity between HPV types; (3) provide a robust clinical sensitivity and specificity; and (4) provide high throughput and efficient processing.SOLUTION: The invention provides primer sets for amplifying human papillomaviruses and human beta globin sequences, methods of using probe sets, and kits having the primer sets and the probe sets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
