Abstract:
To provide a print controller, printer, printing system, and program that even in a case in which a resource to be used in printing is updated, enable resource identification information held by the print controller and resource identification information held by the printer to be matched.SOLUTION: Provided is a printing system including: a print controller 2 having functions such as a print server; and a plurality of printers that are connected to the print controller via a network and perform print processing. The print controller 2 includes a storage unit 21 that stores resource identification information for identifying a resource to be used in printing by a printer, and a control unit 20 that in a case in which the resource is updated, generates new resource identification information so as to be distinguished from the resource before update in correspondence to the resource after update to store the new resource identification information in the storage unit 21, and transmits the new resource identification information to the printer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
