To provide a print device using an ultraviolet curable ink which can maintain excellent leveling properties while adequately preventing color bleeding.
The print device is provided with a plurality of print units (2) arranged in the transfer direction of a print medium (P) to print a plurality of colors of ultraviolet curable inks on the print medium (P), a first ultraviolet ray irradiation unit (3) arranged between the plurality of print units (2) to irradiate ultraviolet rays, and a second ultraviolet ray irradiation unit (4) located on the downstream side of the plurality of print units (2) in the transfer direction to irradiate ultraviolet rays. The print unit (2) is brought into contact with the print medium (P) to print the ultraviolet curable ink on the print medium (P). The first ultraviolet ray irradiation unit (3) irradiates ultraviolet rays under a first irradiation condition to semi-cure the ultraviolet curable ink printed by the print unit (2) located on the upstream side of the first ultraviolet ray irradiation unit (3) in the transfer direction. The second ultraviolet ray irradiation unit (4) irradiates ultraviolet rays under a second irradiation condition to full-cure the printed ultraviolet curable ink.
