PURPOSE: To obtain a printed board having terminals which can be connected with the terminals of a flexible board using an anisotropic conductive film by filling the gap between the terminals of printed board with an insulating film thereby almost identically flatting the upper surfaces of the terminal and the insulating film.
CONSTITUTION: A printed board PCB is entirely coated with an insulating film IF, i.e., a solder regist film, and then polished over the entire surface before being coated again with the solder resist film at a part to be protected. Consequently, the level difference can be eliminated between the terminal TP of printed board PCB and the surface of substrate. Furthermore,the surface is made smooth by polishing. More specifically, the terminal TP of printed board PCB can be connected with the terminal TF of a flexible board using an anisotropic conductive film ACF.
