Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed book accumulation device and printed book accumulation method capable of preventing, with a simple configuration, that a folding side of a bundle of accumulated printed books at an accumulation part becomes abnormally higher compared with a small port side, thereby improving evenness of the bundle of the printed book accumulated at the accumulation part without size increase and cost increase of the device.SOLUTION: The present printed book accumulation device comprises: an accumulation part 20 on which a printed book W is accumulated in a laminated state on a bottom plate 22; a supply part (supply conveyor 10) for supplying the printed book W one by one to the accumulation part 20; and a bottom up part 30 provided on the bottom plate 22 of the accumulation part 20, and curving the respective printed book W accumulated on the accumulation part 20 so as to become a salient shape upward.
