Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a printed matter generating no loss of an aroma component due to volatilization in a preserved state and surely emitting a smell at the time of use.

CONSTITUTION: Printing showing the content of a aromatic commodity such as a perfume is applied to the Y-surface of a base material 21 and, next, a bank 22 is formed on the X-surface of the base material 21 by an adhesive mixed with microcapsules including the aromatic component of the printed matter and a powder 24 composed of microcapsules including the aromatic component is applied to the inside of the bank 22 and, immediately, the base material is folded along line p-q to seal the smell powder in the base material to obtain smell-containing printed matter.
