In the printed matter, a toner holding material layer is laminated on an image support base material, and a toner image formed of toner particles is held on the toner holding material layer. The arithmetic average roughness Ra of the surface of the image support base material that contacts the toner holding material layer is 1.3 μm or less, and the air permeability T is 1.2×104 seconds or less.
