Abstract:

To provide printed matter with anti-forgery contrivance which enables its genuineness to be easily determined by visually or mechanically reading the fluorescence of a part printed in a fluorescent ink and the fluorescence by a fluorescent brightener contained in a recycled paper, in fluorescent printed matter composed mainly of the recycled paper contributing toward the reduction of an environmental load.

This printed matter 1 uses the recycled paper as a base material 10 and has an anti-forgery contrivance achieved by forming a fluorescent printing layer 12 printed in the fluorescent ink on the base material 10. The fluorescent ink is composed of a purple printing ink and an organic fluorescent pigment which gives a yellowish green emission under black light, dispersed in the former to the limits of 2 to 15 wt%, preferably 3 to 5 wt%.
